Stop Waiting for Resell Circle to Make the Sale for You: Use the Tools and Drive Your Own Traffic

If you're serious about making money online, you need to stop waiting for something to happen and start planning what you're going to make happen.
I want to talk directly to the Resell Circle community about something that has nothing to do with another feature, another button, or another tool. I want to talk about activity.
One of the biggest mistakes people make when they decide they want to earn money online is thinking that getting started is the hard part. They create an account, put something online, make a few posts, and then start waiting. After a while, they get discouraged because nothing is happening as quickly as they expected.
But starting an online business is still starting a business. You need a plan. You need activity. You need consistency. Most importantly, you need to decide that you're going to treat this like something you're actually trying to build.
Stop Getting Online Without a Plan
If you're serious about generating income online, don't just pick up your phone every day and wonder what you should post. Before the week begins, decide what you're going to do.
What are you promoting this week? Who are you trying to reach? What are you going to talk about? How many pieces of content are you going to create? When are you going to go live? Who are you going to follow up with? What do you want somebody to do after they see your content?
When you answer those questions ahead of time, you're no longer randomly posting. You're marketing with a purpose.
I want you to start looking at every week like a small campaign. You don't need some complicated 50-page marketing plan. You need to know what you're trying to accomplish and what activities you're going to perform to make it happen.
Pick One Thing to Focus On
One of the easiest ways to become overwhelmed online is trying to promote everything at the same time. Today you're talking about one product. Tomorrow it's something completely different. Wednesday you're starting another idea, and by Friday you've forgotten what you were promoting Monday.
Slow down and create some focus.
Choose something you want to push this week and build your activity around it. If you're promoting a budgeting product, spend the week talking about budgeting. Teach budgeting tips. Talk about budgeting mistakes. Tell a story about something you learned about managing money. Answer a budgeting question.
Now your content is working together instead of competing against itself.
Next week, you can choose another focus.
Give Yourself a Work Schedule
One thing I've learned from being in business is that if something isn't scheduled, it's easy to keep putting it off. Online business can be especially dangerous because nobody is standing over you telling you what time to start working.
You have to become your own supervisor.
Decide when you're going to work on your online business. Maybe you have an hour every morning. Maybe you have two hours in the evening. Maybe Saturday morning is when you create your content for the entire week.
The amount of time will be different for everybody. The important part is creating a routine. Don't only work your business when you feel motivated.
Some days you're going to feel like doing it. Some days you won't. A schedule keeps you moving on both days.
Create More Than You Consume
This one is important.
It's easy to get online intending to work and spend the next two hours watching everybody else work. You start scrolling TikTok, watching videos, checking Facebook, looking at what other entrepreneurs are doing, and suddenly your business time is gone.
You consumed a lot, but you created nothing.
If you're trying to build income online, you need to become a creator more than a consumer. Create the post. Record the video. Write the article. Make the offer. Send the message. Follow up with the prospect.
Before you spend an hour watching somebody else's content, ask yourself, "Did I create mine today?"
Your Daily Activity Should Have a Purpose
You don't need to do 50 things every day. You need to do the right things consistently.
I would break your online activity into three simple categories: create, connect, and promote.
Create something that gives people a reason to pay attention to you. That could be a video, post, article, tutorial, tip, story, demonstration, or answer to a question.
Connect with people. Respond to comments. Answer messages. Participate in conversations. Follow up with someone who showed interest. Business happens between people, and relationships still matter online.
Promote something. You don't have to make every piece of content a sales pitch, but you're running a business. At some point, people need to know what you're offering and how they can get it.
If you consistently create, connect, and promote, you're doing something productive instead of simply being online.
Give Yourself a Weekly Activity Goal
I want you to start measuring what you control.
You can't completely control how many people purchase this week. You can control how much activity you produce.
Set a goal such as creating three useful pieces of content during the week. Decide that you're going to promote your offer at least three times. Schedule one live video if going live makes sense for your audience. Start five new conversations. Follow up with everybody who expressed interest during the previous week.
Those are activities you can measure.
At the end of the week, you can look back and say, "I did what I said I was going to do."
Then you can study the results and improve.
Try This Simple Five-Day Plan
On Monday, plan your week. Choose what you're promoting, identify who you're trying to reach, and write down the main subjects you're going to talk about.
On Tuesday, create. Record videos, write posts, prepare graphics, or create whatever content you're going to use to get attention.
On Wednesday, concentrate on connecting. Respond to people, participate in conversations, reach out to prospects, and follow up with people who previously showed interest.
On Thursday, promote. Make a clear offer. Don't hide the fact that you're in business. Explain what you're offering, who it can help, and why someone should consider it.
On Friday, review the week. Look at what people responded to, which content created conversations, what questions people asked, and whether your offer generated interest. Use that information to make next week's plan better.
You can still create, connect, and promote throughout the entire week. The schedule simply gives each day a primary focus so you always know what you're supposed to be doing.
Don't Judge Your Business After One Week
Another thing I want to address is patience. People will work hard for five days and then decide something isn't working.
Give yourself time to learn.
Your first videos might not get many views. Your first posts may not get much engagement. Your first offer might not produce a sale. That doesn't automatically mean the business doesn't work.
You are learning what your audience responds to. You're learning how to communicate. You're learning what content attracts attention. You're learning how to make an offer.
Every week of consistent activity gives you more information than another week of sitting around thinking about what you might do.
Track Your Activity Before You Track Your Income
Of course we want sales. That's why we're in business. But especially when you're starting, I want you to pay close attention to the activity that comes before the sale.
How many days did you actually work your business this week? How many pieces of content did you create? How many conversations did you start? How many people did you follow up with? How many times did you clearly make an offer?
If the activity numbers are low, don't be surprised when the sales numbers are low.
Before saying, "This isn't working," make sure you've actually been working.
Build the Habit Before You Expect the Results
This is what I want our Resell Circle community to take away from this article. Making money online isn't just about finding the right opportunity. It's about developing the discipline to consistently work that opportunity.
Get online with a purpose. Know what you're promoting. Plan your week. Schedule your work time. Create more than you consume. Connect with people. Make offers. Follow up. Review your results and come back the next week a little smarter than you were the week before.
Don't spend your day waiting for a notification telling you that you made a sale. Spend your day doing the activities that give you a better chance of creating one.
You don't need to do everything today. You just need to stop waiting and start working according to a plan.
Plan your activity. Work your plan. Measure what happened. Adjust what needs to change. Then do it again next week.
That's how you start building something.

3This really spoke to me! 💜 One of my biggest takeaways is that ResellCircle gives us the tools, but we still have to do the work of building our business.
We can’t just post a link and wait for the platform to make the sale. We have to be intentional about creating content, driving traffic, starting conversations, following up, and learning from our results.
I especially liked the idea of focusing on one offer for five days and tracking the activity instead of judging everything by whether we made a sale that day.
Content → Traffic → Leads → Sales
I’m learning to stop asking only, “Did I make money today?” and start asking, “Did I do the activities today that can produce income tomorrow?”
Build the habit before expecting the results. Let’s work the tools! 💜
"Slow down and create some focus" is the sentence I've taken to heart. Thanks!
Thank you for this..I really appreciate it and will do it.
