Tonight’s Kingdom Prosperity Fellowship service was powerful, and my biggest takeaway is prepare.
Preparation is something I’ve often struggled with. I’m naturally impulsive and emotional. I tend to move by how I feel in the moment rather than by intentional planning. I enjoy adventure and living on the edge, but I’m realizing that preparation is not the enemy of faith—it’s a partner to it. Just like the tongue, I know that once I master this area, it will unlock a new level of growth and maturity in my walk.
What stood out to me is that Jesus Himself prepared.
Before His public ministry, Jesus went away for 40 days and 40 nights, fasting and seeking God. That preparation came before the wilderness. When the devil tempted Him, Jesus was already ready. And because He was prepared in private, He was victorious in public. After that victory, He stepped fully into His work.
That showed me something important: Preparation precedes purpose.
We often want the outcome without the process. We want victory without the discipline. But God is intentional. What we do in private determines what we can sustain in public. Private victories determine public impact.
The service also reminded me of something practical. When we were teenagers preparing to get our driver’s license, we didn’t just show up and drive. We studied handbooks. Some of us took classes. We practiced. We prepared for the test so we could receive permission to drive—independence required preparation.
It’s the same with the things of God.
Whether it’s the Word, financial freedom, purpose, or even salvation, preparation is required. Scripture tells us to study to show ourselves approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed. God consistently calls His people to prepare—not out of fear, but out of stewardship.
Tonight, I understand more clearly that preparation isn’t about perfection. It’s about obedience. It’s about positioning myself to receive what I’m asking God for. If I want to increase, I must prepare for it. If I want influence, I must prepare for it. If I want victory, I must prepare before the battle comes.
God is calling me to be intentional, disciplined, and ready.
Amen sis me too. To Hod be the glory, I am so grateful for meeting Bishop Al and you all and you all being so welcoming. It gave me the courage to join and to be not judge for what I didn't know. I'm not giving up. I'm going to get the 30 day thing to start over one day at a time. I am going to get subscriptions, I am going to earn residual income in Jesus name. I love you sis did you have a plan for zoom this week so I don't take no appointments at that time I am so excited to show you something
