Becoming Who God Called Me to be is a faith-centered, testimony-driven gospel album that chronicles a
personal journey of transformation, holiness, courage, and unwavering trust in God.
This project reflects years of spiritual growth, honest self-examination, and obedience to God’s call—revealing what it means to mature as a
believer and walk fully in purpose.
The opening track,
“A Man, Jesus,
” is dedicated to my Mama, who faithfully showed me the truth of God’s Word.
This song reflects how God revealed His doctrine to me and grounded my understanding that “without holiness no
man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14, KJV).
It is a higher-hope tribute to the saints, reminding us that through Christ we are empowered to live holy lives, just as Jesus lived.
The next track centers on change and transformation, inspired by reading my journals and realizing that the same prayers and struggles, I wrote about ten years ago were still present.
In this season, everything is coming together—God is clearly requiring growth, surrender, and change as He brings His purpose to completion.
“Faith Ain’t Fragile” is a bold declaration that faith is not weak. God does not call cowards—He calls strong,
courageous believers. True faith is forged through trials and stands firm in adversity. This song was birthed from real-life experiences, testifying only to what I have seen and heard God do.
At the heart of the album is the ongoing journey from Fear to Favor. Fear has been one of my greatest personal
battles, but God is leading me out of fear and into deeper trust with Him. I am learning to rest in the truth that Jesus is with me in every test and every situation. He promised never to leave me, and He is faithful to His Word.
This album also reflects the revelation that God is not only concerned with my soul, but with every detail of my life.
He is a God of peace, clarity, and order—not confusion.
“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1 Corinthians 14:33, KJV). When I trust Him, I walk in peace.
“Love Will Find Us” is both a prayer and a declaration of hope. Though questions arise and many walk through
similar seasons of uncertainty, what God has for me is for me—and I will receive it in His time.``
