TUESDAY NIGHT TECH — AUGUST 18, 2026 My biggest takeaway from Tech Tuesday was that technology changes, but the psychology of marketing remains the same. Having tools isn't enough—we have to understand how to use them to move people from interest to action.
LINKTREE: The Resell Circle Linktree is becoming more than a page of links. Platinum Plus members can choose whether visitors land on their Links or Shop, products can be displayed directly on the page, and the new grid layout allows links to appear side-by-side. The most important offers should be above the fold—what visitors see before they scroll.
LEAD FORMS: Lead forms can now be placed directly on the Linktree to collect names, emails, mobile numbers, and other information. This turns a visitor into a lead we can continue communicating with.
THE FUNNEL: This finally made funnels click for me: Content → Interest → Lead Page/Linktree → Contact Captured → Follow-Up → Offer → Customer. Saying “Comment INFO” or “Comment AVATAR” isn't the funnel—it's the doorway into the funnel.
WEBINARS + ZOOM: Instead of sending prospects directly to Zoom, the upcoming webinar system can capture them through Resell Circle first. Content/Live → Resell
Circle Registration → Lead Captured → Zoom/Webinar → Offer. That helps preserve the prospect relationship and referral attribution while giving us an opportunity to follow up later.
MOBILE + TRACKING: Resell Circle has already been collecting mobile numbers, with texting functionality planned for the future. Link clicks also set a cookie to help maintain the referral connection.
RE-ENGAGEMENT: All these updates give us a great reason to reconnect with inactive members—not with “Why haven't you been active?” but with “You need to see what's changed since you joined.” QR codes and analytics, improved Linktree pages, lead forms, webinars, products, affiliate opportunities, and other improvements give people a reason to take another look.
BUSINESS: Another important discussion was separating personal and legitimate business activity and learning whether an LLC or other business structure makes sense for your situation. An LLC doesn't automatically make expenses deductible, so this is an area to research and discuss with a qualified tax professional. One statement that stood out: “Information is free. Service is a fee.”
BOTTOM LINE: Don't collect tools just because they're available. Know who you're trying to reach, where you want them to go, what you want them to do when they get there, and how you're going to follow up. The tool isn't the strategy—the system behind the tool is the strategy.
